Online downloads the current server pack during setup. Offline includes the latest successfully published bundle for installation without a content download. Both editions use installer v31. The installer core and bundled content have separate revisions; the Offline snapshot date, download size and checksum are recorded in the build details.

Automatically refreshed bundle
A self-contained installer. After each successful Minecraft server startup, changed published content produces a refreshed Offline bundle; unchanged content keeps the verified download. An EXE you already downloaded remains its recorded snapshot.

These installers are unsigned, so Windows may show Unknown publisher. Compare your downloaded file with the checksum for that build before running it. The refreshed Offline bundle has its own checksum and build details.

Close Minecraft, then run your chosen installer. Online downloads the current content; Offline installs its bundled snapshot. Both prepare the required Minecraft stack.
Start the Chaosphere NeoForge 21.1.248 profile. Open Multiplayer and add chaosphere.cloud.
Stay in Minecraft and use your private verification code in Discord's Unlock Account form.

New players can connect and look around. Complete the private Discord verification to receive Normal access, including building and breaking blocks. Existing higher permissions are preserved.
The normal unlock process, once code delivery is working:
Launch your updated Chaosphere profile and connect to chaosphere.cloud. Open Minecraft chat with T and wait for the private Chaosphere message.
Click Copy verification code in that message. Codes are single-use and expire after 10 minutes; reconnecting can replace an earlier code.
Join the Chaosphere Discord with the account you want linked to Minecraft. Accept any Discord rules screening, then use the Unlock Account channel link in your Minecraft message.
Click Unlock Account, paste the code into its private form, and stay online in Minecraft until completion is confirmed. Keep the code out of ordinary channel messages.

Returning players
The installer and the pack have separate versions. You can update the published content without downloading a new installer for every server change.
Exit the game before updating. Open JAR and ZIP files can prevent a clean synchronization.
Use your managed Online update path or the manual updater below, then start your Chaosphere profile again.
Use this route when Minecraft 1.21.1, 64-bit Java 21, and NeoForge 21.1.248 are already installed. Launch the NeoForge profile once, then close Minecraft and the Launcher.
Use at least -Xmx6G on the NeoForge profile. Enable Windows OpenSSH Client under Optional features if it is missing. The script synchronizes only Chaosphere content; it does not install or remove Launcher, Java, or NeoForge.
Verify the script against the checksum list, then run this command in PowerShell:

No. Installer and pack revisions are separate. Existing players can use their managed Online update path or the manual updater with Minecraft closed. The server automatically refreshes the downloadable Offline bundle after a successful startup when published content changes; a previously downloaded Offline EXE remains a snapshot.
New players need Normal access. Stay online in Minecraft and complete Unlock Account in Discord using the code from your private Minecraft message. If you already have access and are still blocked, ask staff to check your account.
As of 6 September at 09:04 UTC, private code delivery is failing. If no message arrives, stay connected and ask an available staff member in Minecraft chat. Once delivery is restored, use the newest code; its normal lifetime is 10 minutes.
Complete Discord’s rules screening first. If verification is pending, stay online in Minecraft while it finishes. If the channel or button is missing, ask an available staff member in Minecraft chat; a new code cannot repair channel access.
Ask staff for help. One Minecraft account links to one Discord account, and verification does not silently replace an existing association. Keep using the account you chose for the link.
Close Minecraft completely, synchronize the current pack and relaunch the Chaosphere NeoForge 21.1.248 profile for Minecraft 1.21.1. If the error remains, give staff the exact message and the step where it appeared.
Before verification, ordinary Discord chat and voice are restricted. If the private form is unavailable, stay connected and ask an available staff member in Minecraft chat.
